Contemplative Encounters with God: Enjoying the Beauty of Art

Join Rev. Mary Gardner as she leads a guided, contemplative experience at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC! 

As part of our Beauty for Ballast initiative, this will provide a way for participants to look closely at beautiful works of art in the Advent season and be guided in how to apply contemplative practices like visio divina to their viewing to make it a devotional experience.  Mary is a Spiritual Director with Coracle, has been a student of art for many years, and is also an ordained Anglican priest.  We hope you will join us for this special afternoon during a lovely time of year!
