Description

Over the course of 2022, Coracle is offering a series of spaces and resources on "Discernment: Hearing God's Voice in a Noisy World".  We have a deep desire to help God's people explore the practice of discernment– hearing and recognizing God's personal voice in our own lives.  Dallas Willard wrote his classic book Hearing God many years ago, but it remains deeply relevant.  "Developing a Conversational Relationship with God " is perhaps more important now than ever, as is believing in a God who wants to speak to us, and hear from us, all the time, everywhere.

Please join Dr. Scott Buresh, Carla Mueller, and Wade Ballou as they host this 5-week online discussion.  Each week we will explore one to two chapters of the book.  We will start with a common conversation facilitated by our hosts, all of whom have worked with this book in different forms many times between them.  They will summarize the week's chapters and provide key concept overviews.  Then, we will break up into small groups for further discussion and more chances to process.  Then we will come back together for a last short common conversation to close.  This all-virtual discussion group will take place on Wednesday nights from 7-8  PM (ET) starting March 9th.

Here is what each session will cover:

March 9 - Introduction and Chapters 1 & 2

March 16 - Chapters 3 & 4

March 23 - Chapters 5 & 6

March 30 - Chapters 7 & 8

April 6 - Chapter 9 & Epilogue

We very much hope you will join us!
