Description

No one could have anticipated a world-wide pandemic of this magnitude. But here we are in the midst of one. Where does one go in Scripture for comfort?  How do you process “life interrupted” without blame, resentment, or selfishness? What have you learned about yourself, and about God, in this process?

Barbara Ryan will facilitate our next Digital Soundings Seminar where she will share bits and pieces of what she has learned from some of the major upheavals of her life. Join in what we hope will be an informative and interactive hour.

Barbara earned a B.A. at Bucknell University and a J.D. at UVA. Barbara practiced family law in Charlottesville before giving birth to Chris, Carey Beth, and Rebekah. Barb is an A.B.S. Level One Trauma counselor, a Gottman-certified Marriage and Couples in Recovery associate, and has completed a Certified Life Coach and Advanced Skills Training course. Barbara will earn a certificate in Substance Abuse Counseling in May, 2020. She will soon publish a booklet, When Someone You Love Is Addicted To Something You Hate.
