Description

The question of reparations has been taken up all over the country and in nations across the world in different contexts in recent years.  In their new book, Reparations: A Christian Call for Repentance and Repair, Dr. Greg Thompson and Rev. Duke Kwon lay out the historic legitimacy, the moral necessity, and the biblical urgency for reparations from slavery in the context of the church.  Ultimately, they aim to give us a glimpse of a future that is reconciled, just, and ultimately more like Christ.

Starting on Wednesday, September 8th, we will be embarking upon a 5-week book study on Thompson and Kwon's book.  It will be held entirely online for one hour per week over 5 weeks.  It will be hosted by Christine Lee Buchholz (Coracle Board Member) and Max Finberg (CEO of Growing Hope Globally).  Please join us!  We will send the zoom information out to registrants closer to the event.

Meets Wednesday nights 5:30-6:30pm online.
